At TADH we maintain the highest level of sterilisation and infection control.
- All our instruments are soaked in antiseptic solution for a minimum of 30 minutes before they are scrubbed and cleaned under running water and a cleansing solution.
- The instruments are then placed in an ultrasonic cleanser with a disinfectant which functions at high frequency vibrations to remove any debris accumulated on it.
- They are then dried and sealed in sterile wraps and placed in a Class B autoclave (high temperature disinfection) to ensure 100% sterilisation.
- These sterile wraps have colour coding to ensure proper sterilisation.
- The instruments are then stored in a UV chamber to be kept until use.
